Hangs importing PokerStars hands after stars update

I just fired up PokerStars and PokerTracker this morning. PokerStars (UK client) had an update which I installed, but now poker tracker just hangs when either using get hands while playing (no HUD showed up, couldn't stop import). Or trying to manually import the hand history this has been shown for about 15 minutes http://cl.ly/image/3L402y062y1z when trying to import the file that has just 18 hands in it, when I press stop getting hands it never stops and I have to force quit PokerTracker.

After force quitting and restarting the hands do appear in the hands summary as expected. I have logging enabled.

Actually it might be my database that is the problem. The hands imported fine in a new database, just trying to restore a backup will update.

Restored my backup to a new database and switched the new one to active. Trying to import the hands causes the hang once again.

Ok figured it out. For some reason

autovacuum: VACUUM ANALYZE public.cash_cache

kept getting triggered on my old database and every time that query started it just made pokertracker hang. I had to kill that query in Postgres and destroy my old database via PokerTracker to stop that from happening. Hand importing and HUD works fine now with the database restored from the backup.

Sounds like there was some corruption of the old database and restoring fixed it. Glad to hear things are working for you now.
