Problem with opening pt4

When I'm trying to open PT4 thats the massage I get;
Unable to login to database (postgres). Reason: could not connect to server: No such file or directory Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"?
What should I do?

Did PT4 install PostgreSQL for you? Do you see PostgreSQL in your Applications folder?

I have the same problem.
When i first installed PT he installed the PSQL.

Is it still showing in Applications for you?

I'm having the same problem … i think postgres isn't running for some reason… help plz i downloaded postgres again and i got to open the hud import hands then the hud wouldn't pop up and gave me and error so i restart my computer and i get the error this guy listed
