Unable to login to database

Your ticket is awaiting a technician to get to you in our queue. We are shorthanded over the weekend so I'm not sure exactly how long it will take. The only thing I can suggest to for you get up and running again is reinstalling PostgreSQL although looking at the size of your existing database you may not want to do that at this stage.

Hi,

I had deleted the postgreSQL user account for my system preferences. Then I got the "unable to login to database... password authentification" error. So I searched a little bit in here and I found some tipps but they didnt work. After that I deleted Pokertracker and PostgreSQL apps and also postgresql folders from my Library. And installed pokertracker again but I got the same error! (it didnt start to install postgresql again). Could anyone help me?
I use yosemite.

Please follow the uninstall/reinstall tutorial as explained here and that should get everything working for you.

I did all the steps (which most of them couldnt be done cause command or file couldnt be found ). I reinstalled PT (it didnt start to install PostgreSQL!) but it still couldnt find the database and when I clicked to go further without postgre, there was only one option, to creat a new databas. and I got this error
Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT4_2015_09_30_195432
Reason: Unable to login to database (template1). Reason: could not connect to server: No such file or directory Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "/tmp/.s.PGSQL.5432"?
(it's almost like before but this time the error is not about authentification).
I'm looking forward to you answer thank you

You will need to reinstall PostgreSQL - did you do that per the tutorial as well?

I didnt reinstall postgre manually. I reinstalled pokertracker (I only deleted the app from Applications and downloaded it again) and expected that it would do it automatically but it didnt and gave the error that I explained.

You will need to install PostgreSQL manually - follow the guide that kraada linked you to for how to do that.
