Hello,

I am having an error message. See attachements.
I did not do anything strange, except rebooting my laptop.

What the hell is this problem and how can it be solved?
I am not going to delete everything just to loose my database.

I reinstalled postgress 9.6 via the site you provided but it does not solve anything at all. I rebooted like 10 times, no succes.
I have the feeling postgress is not started and I also don't know how to start it on my mac.

Thanks for helping.

Please open a terminal window via Utilities. In the terminal window copy/paste this command:

Code: Select all
sudo rm /Library/PostgreSQL/9.6/data/postmaster.pid

You want to delete 'postmaster.pid' so answer 'y' if the command finds it.

Next restart your Mac then press/hold the 'Alt/Option' key while starting PokerTracker 4 to enable logging and click through any messages.

If PokerTracker 4 is still not starting then please attach the following file to a Support Ticket where a technician can follow up with you:

/Users/{Mac Login}/Library/Application Support/PokerTracker 4/Logs/PokerTracker4.log
