Hello,
What is the correct version for postgresql on the mac?
I had to reset my MAC to factory settings and postgresql doesn't work versions (9.6, 10.22 or the latest one)
The error I get is the: "unable to connect to this database. Please check the configuration"

PostgreSQL v12 is the current recommended version. PokerTracker 4 doesn't officially support newer versions and older versions may not work reliably depending on the specific operating system on your Mac.

Is the Stack builder required? If so, what do I need from it?
I ignored the stack builder and I had the same error message.

StackBuilder isn't required. What happened at the end of the PostgreSQL install? At the end of the PostgreSQL install a message displays to state whether it installed successfully or not.

All the other attempts indicated some sort of error with installation. This one seemed fine. However, the final error is the same.

If the PostgreSQL installer confirmed it was successful then PokerTracker 4 should be able to connect provide you are using the same port and password you used for the PostgreSQL install. If you are using the correct connection settings then the issue might only be because a database PokerTracker 4 thinks is there no longer is so try clicking the 'New' button to see if creating a database will allow PokerTracker 4 to start. If not press/hold the 'Alt/Option' key while restarting PokerTracker 4 to enable logging, reproduce the issue and then attach your log file to a

I can't even get to create a new database. Tbh I don't want to create a support ticket. I've had nothing but problems with PT4 since a bought it a couple of weeks ago. It's over 24 hours to get a few messages answered.
I'd prefer a refund.

To request a refund that will require either the opening of a
Support Ticket or you can reply to your original PokerTracker order confirmation email as that isn't handled via this forum but by a member of the sales team. Thank you.
