Hi, I'm having issues with PT4, very slow imports and crashing when I click stop getting hands

I have done all housekeeping twice and I have done a cache rebuild.

Have recently just updated to 4.18.4

So we can investigate that and follow up with you please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce the crash and then grab your log file and attach that to a Support Ticket:

\Users\{Mac Login}\Library\Application Support\PokerTracker 4\Logs\PokerTracker4.log

One thing to note is that every time you close/restart PokerTracker 4 it will begin a new log so you'll want to save/send that PokerTracker4.log file before restarting PokerTracker 4 again. In the meantime you can try reverting to PokerTracker v4.18.3 here if that was the version you updated from. Alternatively you could try creating a new temporary database.

Well in my case it's not that it's slow, it's that directly after doing housekeeping reindex the PT4 didn't pick up my hands

At least I know I'm not the only one, thank God, I was already nervous. I will try to put PT4 4.18.3, if it doesn't work I will send the log

I have the same issue. Apple M3 Max

Pokertracker HUD is completely unreliable and only shows very rarely and on random tables, on different sites. And hand imports take forever, and even when playing I only see the hands imported like 40 mins later. Then I press stop importing and receive an unresponsive app and a beachball symbol.

Cannot use it at all, is there a fix for this? Ive tried to rebuild the db.

Thanks

If rebuilding the cache hasn't resolved then potentially there is an issue with the database that isn't repairable so please try creating a new database and that should get things up and running again:

Guide: Creating A New Database in PokerTracker 4

If you want to follow up on the trouble with that database then please turn on 'Enable Logging' in PokerTracker 4 via 'Configure -> Options' and then restart PokerTracker 4. Next reproduce the freeze and then grab your log file and attach that to a Support Ticket where a technician can follow up with you:

\Users\{Mac Login}\Library\Application Support\PokerTracker 4\Logs\PokerTracker4.log
