HUD on 888

The HUD on 888 is all over the place. I've just downloaded the Mac 888 client but I can't get the HUD to work properly. I have set the preferred seats in both 888 and PT4 but the individual HUD windows appear in random places. If I move them and lock them into place, they revert to their random positions when a new player arrives or I open a new table. I did get them to stay in right places, but then it appeared to assign the players completely at random. This is making the HUD totally unusable.

How do I solve this problem?

If 888 write hand histories when you are seated and waiting for the blinds (as they do on Windows) then the Hud will appear but will not rotate to your preferred seat during this time (because you are not dealt in there is no hero in the hand, so the Hud does not rotate).

Please disable preferred seating in both 888 and PT4 and reposition the Hud to the correct locations at a single table, and PT-icon > Save Layout.
Confirm the positions at another table of the same type.
Enable preferred seating again in both 888 and PT4 and join a new table.
Do NOT move the Hud - after your first PLAYED hand has been imported the Hud will rotate to your preferred seat.

Do I have to do that at the start of every session?

No, once the stats are positioned correctly they will adjust automatically AFTER YOUR FIRST PLAYED HAND IS IMPORTED.
