PT broken after time machine restore

Postby poochie » Sat Dec 07, 2013 9:43 am

Hello,
today i made a complete backup wtih time machine and restored my whole system using it.
Now, poktertracker is not able to connect to the old database. When launching PT the database is visible but gray and PT tells me an Error occured.
I reinstalled Postgresql 9.0 but it did not help. When i try to connect to the PT4 database using pgadmin an error pops up:
FATAL: base/16392 is not a valid directory
DETAIL: File "base/16392/PG_VERSION" is missing

It looks like something with postgresql is messed up, can somebody help me, i have a really big database and this would really suck.

Why did you perform the backup and restore? Did you take a separate backup using PT4?

Try reinstalling PostgreSQL as explained here - you shouldn't need to uninstall, just reinstall. If the installer gives an error let me know what it is.
