I just migrated to a new Mac.
When I open PT4 I get error message:
Unable to login to database...could not connect to server. No such file or directory. Is the server running locally and accepting connections on Unix domain socket "...PGsQL.5432"
I also get 'Unable to Connect to this database. Please check the configuration'
1. I tried deleting PT4, re-downloading, and installing, and I get the same error message. I'm using standard PostgreSQL server informaiton.
2. I tried this - https://www.pokertracker.com/guides/PT4 ... gresql-mac
but at terminal but when I enter Is/Library/PostgreSQL/ it says no such library or directory.
In case I was supposed to enter that with a space between Is and / I got the message 'command not found'
3. When I migrated to the new Mac I also migrated the PostgreSQL user account
4. After deleting then reinstalling PT4 I was never prompted to install PostgreSQL on my Mac
"When you run PokerTracker for the first time, if PostgreSQL is not installed on your computer, you will be prompted to install the PostgreSQL database server onto your computer. "
I'm stuck and I'm not sure what to try next. I'm using El Capitan 10.11
