database connection

hey guys,
i bought the poker tracker 4 and for 2-3 weeks it all went fine with it.
but yesterday the pt4 couldn't connect to the database anymore, even with the right filled out gabs as port and server.
i can also not create a new database because it can also not connect.
please help me, thanks.

Open Applications -> Utilities -> Console -- do you see any errors relating to PostgreSQL there? Have you changed anything recently with your PostgreSQL installation?

Im having the same issue… i imported a bunch of hands off an old computer and now i can't connect to database .. and my guess is postgresrl isn't running… how do i fix this issue

no errors , which leads me to believe that postgres isn't even running even tho i downloaded it 3 times .. i haven't changed anything … i recently transferred ALOT of hands off another mac… and ever since the transfer went complete its been giving me problems


also if i drag out the postgres 9.5 icon .. i can click it redownload it then have the same problem… i can open the poker tracker than… but when i reset the cpu it goes back to not being able to connect to database… and also when i start the program and play poker … the hud doesn't pop up at all because of an input error…thanks for the help in advance i hope i was specific enough
