Hey guys,

I have been playing on a macbook for last 2-3 years. I have recently built a PC. I want to be able to play poker on here using my database from the Macbook. Is this possible?

Yes, databases are transferable. To do so make a backup and restore it on your PC. Check out the Tutorial: Backup and Restore.

I presume I need something like a USB stick to backup to so I can put on PC?

Can I still play on the mac with same database if i needed too? Sometimes i travel and play on laptop when I'm not at home.

Yes, you can still play on both, although you'll probably want to import the hand histories to both computers if you do so.
You need some way to transfer the backup file from one computer to the other; if you have them networked you can copy the file over your network, or you can use something like Dropbox to share your files between computers. Otherwise you can use a USB stick or an external hard-drive or something to copy the file.

What do you mean by networked ? Sorry, I'm a PC noob lol. So I don't go database > export hands as that's what a friend told me?

That is a good way to keep your hands in sync, and if you haven't made any notes or edited any tournaments then importing your hands again will work, although backup/restore will be quicker.

Is there anyway i can get one of you guys to help me with the synching hands between pc and mac as i play on both and need the same up to date data on each. I have moved my datebase to my PC now and that works fine. I played some games on that and i was hoping it would be then on my mac.
