PT4 HUD flickering problem

Hey guys, I’m running a iMac with macos sierra (non retina late 2013 edition iMac) I currently use an 1080p external moniter (hooked up through a minidisplay port imac > to dvi) and I’ve been getting a “flickering” thing when my HUD is turned on. Without the hud, things seem perfectly fine throughout the poker clients. It seems to be on every client so far (party, stars) I thought it might be my 2nd moniter but actually the problem is still there with or without it. I’m still waiting to hear back from support but hoping to find some help here or if anyone else has had this problem and fixed it. It’s def playable but quite annoying to deal with

This is because when the table window updates the Hud needs to be redrawn back on top. On OSX we can't attach the Hud directly to the table window in the same way that we can on Windows, so there is a little delay while we detect the need to redraw the Hud.

Is there any way to fix this? Seems like a new problem for me as ive never had this problem before

Nothing was changed in this regard recently. This issue is because of the restrictions of OSX and the timing we use to redraw the Hud is the best compromise between speed and performance.
