Was thinking about using filevault to encrypt my mac but not sure if it´s going to impact my pt4 database.

Do you have any info on this??

I don't have any personal experience of that, but I would expect that it may well affect PostgreSQL since it manages many individual files which make up the database. You may want to contact PostgreSQL support for more information.

do you know any email to them?? I can only find irc chat and forums?

The only email address I am aware of is support@enterprisedb.com
