Reading in a HEM2 database, possible?

Postby olavfo » Sun Apr 23, 2017 2:31 pm

Hi,

I'm in need of importing a HEM2 db of study hands with commentary from a HEM2 user. Is there a way for him to export the db in a format that my PT4 can read, so that I get the hands with all comments preserved?

If you have Holdem Manager 2 installed then PokerTracker 4 can import a Holdem Manager 2 database, including database notes, via 'Tools > Setup Assistant > Convert Holdem Manager Database' however if you are on a Mac there is no Mac version of Holdem Manager 2 so you wouldn't be able to do that on your computer unless you have a virtual machine and a PostgreSQL shared between the VM and the host OS. Hands can be exported from Holdem Manager 2 and imported into PokerTracker 4 but that won't transfer any other information (hand notes, player notes e.t.c.)
