Having trouble running PT4 with Red Kings

Postby theupliftmofo » Thu Jun 08, 2017 2:48 am

Hello, I have Red Kings Poker, and I am having trouble running PT4 on it.

I have a Macbook Air.

Red Kings is part of MGN but on the "Supported Sites" page for PT4 it says that Red Kings is part of the OnGame Network, and there no longer seems to be an option for MGN:

https://www.pokertracker.com/products/PT4/supported.php

Anyway, I take the following steps:

- Tools > Setup Assistant > Configure Sites
- Click on "Yes" for the "OnGame Network"
- Keep clicking on "Next"

Then I get the message that state:

"An OnGame Network Skin does not appear to be installed"

Do you know why this could be? Does Red Kings work on Macbook Air with PT4?

Thanks for any help!

RedKings is a member of the Microgaming Network and that's not supported on Mac since those clients don't save hand histories. Also if you were to play via a Windows machine then you should note that Microgaming have decided not to provide full hand histories in cash games when you have not contributed to the pot so these hands cannot be imported by PokerTracker 4. See this blog post on the Microgaming site for further details on the changes that have been made. Due to this change, we are forced to no longer support Microgaming's cash games - see this thread for more information. Since Microgaming has not made this change to tournaments, we will continue to support Microgaming tournaments as long as hand histories are written for every hand.

Thanks for your response.

So does that mean if you ran Pokertracker 4 on a Windows machine with cash game, you would not be able to have HUDs?

So if I were to have a Windows machine, I would still be able to use PT4 with tournaments on Red Kings and have HUD's and hand histories? But not on cash games, and not with Macs?

Yes although you can use PokerTracker v.4.14.23 to import some hands - for further details please refer to the thread I linked earlier.

Yes. That can be a separate Windows machine or a virtual Windows machine on your Mac.
