notecaddy not working and also not opening

as the subject says it isnt working and even the app isnt opening [ i open through pokertracker apps -> then notecaddy]
tried disabling then enabling stil not opening
badges are also not showing up instead im seeing some other icons [see attached picture]
please help thanks

This usually happens if you import a HUD before importing the definitions which are attached to it.

Do you have the note and/or color definitions that are needed for this HUD active in NoteCaddy? If you do, then try to import the HUD into PT4 one more time, and see if it starts working for you.

edit: Oh I see that you're saying NoteCaddy isn't even opening.. Are there any error messages? Do you see anything in a file named 'NoteCaddy.Errors.log' in this directory? C:\Users\[WindowsUsername]\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Logs

Something you can try is to reset NC back to factory settings to see if it helps:
*Resetting PT4 NC Settings Back To Factory Defaults*
1. Close PT4 and navigate to: C:\Users\[WindowsUsername]\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Data\AppsData\Tm90ZUNhZGR5.
2. Make a backup of the .xml files (copy/move them somewhere else on your pc).
3. Delete the .xml files from the directory in step 1.
4. Restart PT4, go into NoteCaddy and adjust your settings as you prefer again (File → Settings).
5. If you use Color Definitions, then import the ColorDefinitions.xml that you backed up from step 2, into NoteCaddy → Tools → Import Color Definitions.
6. Reset and reprocess the notes (File → Reset Notes).

yes there are error logs called notecaddy.errors

hi notecaddy is opening now bu the badges arent working.
there is just an empty space where the badges used to be

Ok, I'm glad you're starting to get it working.

If you are using a coaching package, can you try to import it into NoteCaddy again? If it's one of the default packages, you can reload it in NoteCaddy 'Manage my Ultimate packs'.

Do you have any color definitions or note definitions that have the prefix 'preflop' in them?

If you do have note/color definitions that have the prefix 'preflop', then you should also be able to add these 'prefixedbadge.preflop' badges to your HUD.

So it's likely that you are missing the definitions that you once had. If you are not sure where these definitions are, you can look here to find a backup:
C:\Users\[WindowsUsername]\AppData\Local\PokerTracker 4\Data\AppsData\Tm90ZUNhZGR5\definitions

Then you can import those definitions into NoteCaddy, reset and reprocess the notes, and hopefully you'll have everything back that you are currently missing.

hi i cant find them there. i dont think i made any color definitions.
these preflop badges were default badges as in they were already in the list of notecaddy badges and i didnt add them

so i was looking at the list of badges have to updated or changed? because the naming has been changed in the list or is there some problem in my list?
