notecaddy repeatedly crashing

Hi, I recently installed notecaddy but since using this the hud application crashes very frequently, when it does I receive the error message
"Notecaddy has stopped responding and therefore has been closed. Please report the problem to the developer of NoteCaddy"

I've never really had problems with the hud crashing prior to using notecaddy. I'm playing on NL zoom tables on pokerstars, operating system is windows10. I've attached a support bundle with logs. Sometimes the app crashes after a few minutes, other times it seems to last longer, there doesn't seem to be a pattern about how long it takes before it crashes. Most of the time reloading the app gets it working again although there are occasions when it takes a few attempts to get it to load up, receiving the same error as above until it loads.

Any idea what I could do to help fix the issue?

Thanks

Hello shaney0

Thank you for reporting this issue to us.

From the log files you have attached, both PT4 and NC are up to date. This issue has been happening to a few users with NC up until the current version.

The most recent PT4 update requested users to start a new database to make sure some old bugs were corrected. I would suggest as a first step, starting a new DB and importing the hands to it, process all hands with Notecaddy for notes to see if this issue still happens.

Another way is simply starting a new DB, do not import hands, and use that as a test DB for a small session to understand if Notecaddy still crashes.

Thank you for the detailed information you provided about your system and poker rooms you play on. Please let me also know the exact HUD and definitions package you are using with NC so we can try to isolate further if the above steps do not help.

Outside of the specific issue we are tracking the main causes for Notecaddy to crash is lack of resources from the computer toprocess all hands on a very big database while using a lot of definitions. The more definitions we use and the bigger the DB the more resources it needs to run HM/NC.
Keep an eye on the Task Manager to understand if there are enough resources avaliable at all times to process the hands.

Let me know how it goes,

Best wishes,
