Look at the bottom of the first post in this thread for a workaround if you experience crashes with the latest patch.

People don't have to keep asking - I will update this thread when there is a permanent solution.

Hi Mike,

I know you're working on a solution to the FTP problem and I appreciate that.

In the meantime I have a question about the "k" patch. As I posted earlier, I'm reluctant to install it given the problems some users are reporting. However, if I go ahead and install it and do experience problems, is it possible to "downgrade" back to the "e" version I'm running now?

Thanks!

I can get you the "e" beta patch if you'd like, but you won't be able to import FTP hands with that patch. Keep in mind that just running the "k" patch really won't hurt you. If you don't want to use the third party workaround then you don't have to. It's not required with the "k" patch, it was only made available because some users were experiencing crashes when importing FTP hands only. All other imports will work the same as always. Send me a PM if you really want to reinstall the "e" patch though.

I downloaded the "k" patch and am still having trouble. It goes to "pto.exe" not working and shuts down.

When?, during the FTP import? Are you using the workaround program I mentioned before that's listed in the first post of this thread?

Yes, during the import. My mistake. I thought the latest patch fixed that.

I am double posting this in both PTO & here. I have all the patches and everything current, but still PAH is not recognizing any tables. I am using it in conjuction with PTO. Anyone getting this combo to work?

Thanks,

The PA HUD people will have to help with that one.

We are still working on a better solution, that is why workarounds have been offered.

also when the walk around thing used.

What do you mean? No one else has has trouble using the workarounds. What is happening?
