New OS install and database

Postby gbpoker » Wed Jul 29, 2009 11:56 pm

I think I have a worst case scenario. I was having OS troubles in XP so I moved to Vista.

I did not backup my PT3 database before this.

Vista has the old \Program Files directory with all the old PostgreSQL directory.

I re-installed PT3 and PostgreSQL. Created a new db which is clearly empty as it's new.

How can I import my old database into PT3 and where is it, etc?

Hmmm, ok looks like the answer is to manually re-import all my hand histories into the new database?

I hope I have all the history files :) I think I grabbed them all from the old PT2 and PT3 and PokerStars directories and it looks like all of them. Will know once it's done importing.

The hand history import worked. Sorry for the post spam.
