Very old laptop

Postby TonyB73 » Wed Mar 26, 2008 7:35 pm

I have a Mac at home as my only computer and have been playing around with trying to install PT3 using Crossover, with little success. I'm now thinking I might just wait for the native Mac version in a few months' time.

In the meantime, I can get an old laptop from work for next to nothing, and am thinking about grabbing it as my "poker computer" for the next few months. It is a Thinkpad R40, with I think P4, 1.3 GHz, 256MB RAM, 40GB HD, Win XP.

My question - given the laptop is 4-5 years old, is there any danger of it being too old and slow to easily multitable, say, 4 tables on PS with PT3 and a HUD running? Or is this a stupid question and it will be absolutely fine?

Thanks!

I think that computer might be too slow for 4 tables, but you never know. I'm not sure what the minimum specs would be.
