can't log in

I tried to reinstall my PT3 and i must have deleted the PostgreSQL Database. I'm now asked to log in and when i try i get this message:

Unable to create PostgreSQL database: PT3 DB
Reason: Unable to execute query: CREATE DATABASE "PT3
DB" WITH TEMPLATE = template0 ENCODING =
SQL_ASCII';; Reason: Fatal Error (ERROR: database "PT3
DB" already exists )

Does anyone know how i can sort this out?

Are you using Build 5.2 of PT3?
(If not, please update: Download page)

That sounds like you just lost the configuration of your existing database so PT3 is trying to create a new one for you but can't because one with the default name already exists.
I would have expected it to just create one with a different name.
What happens after you OK that message?
If you are able to run PT3, go to the Database > Database Management window and click New, then Browse Databases and select your existing database - that should fix it.

I assume you are stuck at the "Configure PostgreSQL Database" dialog at startup.

You'll probably want to use that existing database. If you do:

Check the "This database already exists" checkbox. The "Create" button will turn into the "Connect" button.

If you want to start fresh with a new database:

Change the text which follows the "Database:" area in the "PostgreSQL Server Information" and it's also a good idea to change the Name: field above that too.
