SQL error message - importing Prima ring games

Postby TheSword » Thu Mar 27, 2008 9:13 am

Hi - I have just received the following error message, after previously having no problems to date: !!! Database Error !!! SQLDBCode: 11 ; SQLErrText: Select error: SQLSTATE = S1000
database disk image is malformed (11).
I have just received the latest Purple Lounge software update, and also an update for ZoneAlarm security suite, so I'm not sure if either of these has caused the issue?
Thanks

On the Prima auto-import window, click the Configure Database Files button. On the next window, make a note of the folder location of the GameHistory.dat file that you are pointing PT to read from.

Close PT and the poker site. Go to this folder and rename the GameHistory.dat file to GameHistory_bad.dat. Then open the poker site software and play another hand. They should create a new GameHistory.dat file for you to continue to import from. Open PT and and the Prima auto-import window and you should be able to start importing again.

Hello

Troubles with Unibet since 26/03 (the new tables) :
"Import Finished With Errors - The import finished but there were errors. Open the Utilities/Error Log Display/Maintenance window to see the errors - 0 hand(s) were imported."

Error log file : 100 hands not imported, 100 errors like this one :
"Error #2
Date written: 03/27/2008 08:23:36 PM - From/Version: AutoPRIMA (2.17.01i)
File name: i:\applications\poker tracker v2\PRIMA_HH_1_20080327_202327.txt
Error Msg: Unable to get the game level for game # 1937881983"

If i regenerate a new database, another type of error come :
"Error #1
Date written: 03/27/2008 08:33:44 PM - From/Version: AutoPRIMA (2.17.01i)
File name: C:\Microgaming\Poker\UnibetpokerMPP\GameHistory.dat
Error Msg: Datebase Error: SQLDBCode: 1 ; SQLErrText: Select error: SQLSTATE = S1000
no such table: HandHistory (1)"

TY for your help

Are you using Vista?? If so, you need to be running all your poker software as administrator...

Thanks Pat,
It seems I have actually had this problem previously, although I thought the new software had caused the issue this time. I already have a "gamehistory_bad.dat" file, together with several other gamehistory.dat files. Should I just delete these other files and continue to do so to prevent the problem happening again?

Yes, you can delete the "old" bad file and other gamehistory.dat files that may have a long string of numbers in their name.

On a regular basis, once you have made sure all your hands are loaded and the Prima software is not running, use the "Reset DB's" button on the Prima auto-import window. This will keep the file from getting too large and causing more problems and make it faster to import hands.
