2 PTstud issues

Postby jonlyne » Wed Oct 14, 2009 6:24 pm

I have run into a couple of issues since purchasing PTStud, these were not present when using the trial version.

1) Sessions are no longer tracked properly. The each hand seems to be split into a seperate session, with the start time and end time always 00:00:00 of the day it was played on. This also seems to affect the tracking of hours played, with each hand seemingly only having lasted a second or so.

2) Bet levels are split incorrectly. Each bet level seems to have been split into two categories. e.g. the games i have played at $1/$2 seem to have been split between two categories: $1/$2 USD ($0.10)/$0.10 Hi and $1/$2 USD /$0.10 Hi

All hands imported are from Pokerstars.

Any help much appreciated.

The trial and full versions are the same with respect to how sessions are imported. It sounds like you need a newer patch. Install the latest PATCH, version 1.05.07a from this link (MAKE SURE YOU DOWNLOAD THE PATCH INSTALL, the second link on this page, and NOT the full version:
http://www.pokertracker.com/products/PTS/download.php

If you have any game levels that have "USD" in the description then you will need to merge these into the correct level or else you will start having problems. To do this use the menu and select Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options. Go to the Misc. tab and use the Change Game Level... button. After you convert a game level to the correct level you should delete the level if it is still listed on that tab.

Another option correct your data: use the Utilities > Database Maintenance and Options window to purge these sessions with the wrong game levels and then reimport your hand histories with this latest patch.

Thanks Mike. I had installed the patch but needed to purge the hands and re-import. Everything looks fine now.

Much appreciated!
