PT3 can interact with PostgreSQL - you were able to import hands into your database. You can be 100% certain that the ODBC driver is installed and functioning, otherwise that would not work. The stack builder really doesn't matter for much else, so I really would not worry about it.

alright, that closes that "stupid question"...

currently at 11h:36m of clustering.. when done, i'll create a new test DB and run import into the night to compare..

so if i am having issues during the read/write process.. can be it some sort of HD settings? some windows indexing crap?? something in the BIOS?

housekeeping at 17h:25m...

we are now updating cache -- postgre.exe is going crazy..

so my problem is with clustering and clustering only.

The main causes of slow clustering are not having enough free space on your hard disk for [postgres to make] a complete copy of your database, or the disk being really fragmented.

I guess you've already had all these links, but just in case:

So how did things end up after the new database import?
