Need to recover Pokertracker files

Postby mn156 » Sat Mar 29, 2008 12:56 pm

Long story short my laptop motherboard or processor crashed, I have replaced the laptop it with a MacBook. I can access the laptop's HD from my MacBook and want to copy my SQL databases over to my Mac so I can use them if PT ever issues a Mac version. I have over 500k hands not including datamined hands. What file names am I looking for? I don't see anything huge in subdirectories that I searched. I am open to any other ideas as well.

Didn't you ever make backups of your PostgreSQL database(s)?

If not, the only other hope if to get the entire PostgreSQL data folder, see here

I have most of it backed up, those instructions will take care of the rest. So if I read it right, I need to copy the entire Postsql folder to my mac and then wait until PT has a MAC friendly version, right?

Yes, or really just the ../data folder is what you want but it wouldn't hurt to copy the whole folder. If you want to run PT natively on the Mac then yes, waiting until PT3 supports that will be necessary.
