I've read a lot of posts about the tuning/re-installing postgreSQL/using 2HDD,....
But i was wondering if it matters in what order it is done.
I did this:
1)Create table space to my newest and fastest Hard drive (I:\)
2) deleted postgreSQL, and downloaded 8.3.8 and did the tuning thingy. I installed it on the "C" drive! because i understand that the tablespace does the work of transferring data from "C" to "I". at least thats what i understood from all the computer language

I am exporting my database so i can import them again on my "I" drive. Not my "C"drive.
Not sure if this is the best way to do it? any advice? after that is imported i plan to do housekeeping. (last week it lasted 23 hours.) (1.2 million hands) or is it not necessary?
Can i delete the data on my "C"drive afterwards? and which folder is it that i should empty?
Any help will be appreciated. I am stunned I already got this far without questions

Hoping for a reply soon
