I'm paying for t. tracker without ordering it!!! [Resolved]

While going trough my bank records, I saw that each month 15$ is taken from my account and transfered to Poker Tracker. I guess this is for payment of Table tracker since is a service you offer that is subscription based. I have never used it, never ordered it, never tried it even during the trial period.

I'm very disapointed by that, especially since I trusted your site with my CC information a thing I usually don't do with various websites, but you seemed reliable enough to me.

I have not checked the TOS troughly, if the subscription is a given to everyone purchasing PT3, but if it's hidden between in small letters, you should reconsider this business practice.

I expect a refund on the payments I made (or should I say; you took on your account).

Yeah the same thing happened to me only it is just shy of $26 a month. Was charged two months before I caught on and nixed the subscription. Must admit I felt as though I was taken advantage of for $50+. :(
I don't play thousands of hands per day like some and only 2 - 4 table at a time giving me plenty of opportunity to cruise the PS listing when necessary; and only play at PS, so Table Tracker thing is considered a luxury and not a necessity.

Guys, TableTracker is something you have to add to your cart when you check out. We do not charge you automatically. Please open a support ticket explaining your situation and we'll take care of you.

I checked the cart page. Of course the free trial is bolded and the information that it will start to bill in one month is in small print. Off course when you open the Table tracker support page the information is visible in big letters on the begining (since I believe you get a lot of those complaints). I still think this poor ethics.

I am making no fuss. I will chalk it up to me not paying attention. However, I distinctly remember Table Tracker being part of a 30 day 'trial' for upgrading to PT3; and not a direct purchase. At any rate, I do believe it was my fault for not paying attention so I pay money instead. As the old saying goes: if you're too poor to pay attention you'll surely pay.

Yesterday support contacted me and they have solved my subscrition issues and refunded me.

I thank you a lot for the fast and excellent response and apologize if I used some harsh tones with my request.

Big thumbs up for PT3 support!

P.S. Please feel free to edit the title to Solved or something like that.

I made a complaint to support about a similar issue. I signed up, knowingly, for the free trial. However, when I went to cancel it, I received no email confirmation. Apparently they are aware this is an "issue" because there is more fine print that tells you to email support if you did not get a confirmation email. My problem is, why does it not just give confirmation through the website? You cannot possibly get me to believe that with all the php wizardry going on in the purchase section of this site that they can not program a way to have the site confirm the subscription was canceled, but instead have to rely on oh-so-unreliable email. Very reminiscent of the free $79.95 credit report deals.

I'll make sure to bump that issue with the development team - you are right that a confirmation page is a good idea.
