Everest and SnGs historial

Postby Sacamantecas » Fri Apr 04, 2008 8:58 am

I have latest patch 2.17.0.1h

I only play SnGs, I have imported my hand's historial from Everest but when I enter on the tournament player statistics window, it appears a warning window that says "missing tournament summaries", and roi %, buy in and tournament type values are missing

You would have to use the File > Tournament Results - Manual Entry > Everest Poker window to enter this information.

If PT isn't creating the summary information can you open one of the Everest hand history files and copy/paste the first 10 lines of the file into a reply here so I can see what it looks like.

[codekwe]<SESSION time="1206454935" tableName="24410469-0" id="24410469" ty[/codekwe]

Was this really a [bkwe]single-table[/bkwe] SNG? Because their SNG table names used to have regular names and not numbers. That is why PT doesn't know what to do here.

If you go to the File > Tournament Results - Manual Entry > Everest Poker window you can click on the "Define Sit&Go Table Properties" and enter these tables names and then any future tournaments from that table should get imported with the summary completed.

I only play 20+2$ 10 people SnGs on Everest

This is a single table SNG

I don't think "define SnG Table Properties" would work, these are some first lines of differents SnGs (always same type, Galeras=20+2$)

This some SnGs played on one day

[quoted2n]
<SESSION time="1207317379" tableName="24673276-0" id="24673276" type="tournament" money="" screenName="Hero" game="hold-em" gametype="no-limit"/>
<SESSION time="1207316784" tableName="24673061-0" id="24673061" type="tournament" money="" screenName="Hero" game="hold-em" gametype="no-limit"/>
<SESSION time="1207315535" tableName="24672598-0" id="24672598" type="tournament" money="" screenName="Hero" game="hold-em" gametype="no-limit"/>
<SESSION time="1207315192" tableName="24672494-0" id="24672494" type="tournament" money="" screenName="Hero" game="hold-em" gametype="no-limit"/>
<SESSION time="1207314545" tableName="24672231-0" id="24672231" type="tournament" money="" screenName="Hero" game="hold-em" gametype="no-limit"/>
[/quoted2n]

Other days:

[quoted2n]<SESSION time="1207060463" tableName="24597232-0" id="24597232" type="tournament" money="" screenName="Hero" game="hold-em" gametype="no-limit"/>
<SESSION time="1207061119" tableName="24597482-0" id="24597482" type="tournament" money="" screenName="Hero" game="hold-em" gametype="no-limit"/>
<SESSION time="1207061798" tableName="24597749-0" id="24597749" type="tournament" money="" screenName="Hero" game="hold-em" gametype="no-limit"/>
<SESSION time="1206455429" tableName="24410666-0" id="24410666" type="tournament" money="" screenName="Hero" game="hold-em" gametype="no-limit"/>
<SESSION time="1206455806" tableName="24410804-0" id="24410804" type="tournament" money="" screenName="Hero" game="hold-em" gametype="no-limit"/>
[/quoted2n]

It seems to me that table name it's now only a counter, for example, a SnG played one hour later than other, have always a greater ID or table name

I know that because the Everest history hands are numbered in order in the file name (98,99,100 ...)

There is no word "galeras" in any of this files (galeras is the 20+2$ SnGs' name on Everest)

This is happening also to cash players on Everest or only SnGs players?

The problem is then that I don't think the hand histories contain the buy-in/fee amount. Before when they had unique table names for each SNG it was easy to determine this by using the window I described above. Unless this information is contained now in the hand history there is no way for PT to determine buy-in/fee so that would have to be entered manually. Can you email me or send some of these hand history files through the support system so I can see them in full to see if this data is in them?

I have sent 5 hands to the support e-mail

This is also happening to Everest cash players?

The new PT3 can't support this also, don't?

The problem that cash game players are having is that Everest was writing every single hand to the same file so every hand was being listed as being played at the same table. This was a couple weeks ago after a recent Everest update. I haven't heard anything recently so I assume they fixed it.

The cash games don't rely on table names, unless they are playing 6 max or heads up in which case PT uses the tables names to make the sessions appropriately. I haven't heard from anyone that this isn't working, maybe they didn't change the cash game table names.

This problem with tournaments is completely different. PT doesn't know the buy-in/fee unless the table names are consistent like they used or it's listed in the hand histories...which it is not based on the files you sent me. So you are going to have to manually enter this information. PT3 is going to have the same issue if it has no way to tell what the buy-in is.

What about an option to set these SnG settings by default and not to have to enter the information for each SnG

For example, I only play 20+2$ SnGs, if I could set by default these values, the problem with be solved

Right, that would be a good idea, it will likely be something we add in PT3 as we are looking for ways to make things easier for tourney players to get their summaries entered with the least amount of manual effort.
