Right now it seems like Rush wants it every 10k hands if you four table. Basically every table you add means you need that much more performance.

Your logs show the hud coming up and updating quite fast. It also shows about 80% cached with almost 9,000 hands uncached. What has changed?

Weird because the new display box on the bottom of the import screen shows only 5k uncached hands (89%). I am doing housekeeping now to see if it helps, but I have no way of knowing since for half a day now the HUD simply will not appear on my FT screen. I have restarted a couple of times, tried 30.5 and 30.4, tried various PT options all to no avail. And as I said, my friend (also playing FT rush) reported the same behavior in terms of the HUD simply never appearing for her starting this afternoon (and I believe it was after she installed 30.5). Any suggestions to try?

Make sure that she has it enabled. It was also disabled in your latest log as well so be sure you re-enable it.

Do you have McAfee installed on your computer? If so, you'll need to disable "Auto Protect" / "Real Time Protection" along with "SystemGuards" until McAfee is able to update their virus definitions.

Unfortunately McAfee does not provide any method to add an exception to mark these files to not be scanned and due to the false positives they are generating, McAfee is removing necessary files from your computer.

Once you disable the above settings, reinstall PT3 and the issue should be resolved.

Is there an ETA of when Mcafee is going to update their virus definitions pertaining to this, or can someone post in this thread when they do?

The last thing I heard all the major AVs had updated their definitions, so make sure you have the latest updates, but otherwise you can send them the installer to be added.
With McAfee it seems almost at random whether they block us or not - one of our developers has been testing the same version daily and some days it works, some it doesn't..

Wow, I simply overlooked that because I was clicking on the Bodog prefs since it was first in the list and thus never saw it. I will tell her too.

However, as my latest response to ticket #81557 indicates, the sluggishness problem is still there.

This time I can see it in your logs. Thanks for all your help. I'm going to have to get more people to help me look at this. We'll keep you up-to-date in your ticket.

i noticed a useful 'cache status' info on status bar in 30.4
i upgrade to 30.5 and seems 'cache status' info not present anymore?
is it still available?

another thing about the postgreql tune-up:
does it apply for 8.4 also?

Still lagging.
I am now using beta 30.5 and a specific DB for Rush Hands. Also, I've done housekeeping on the DB before playing.

Since the ticket I submitted a few days ago was with beta 30.3, I'll submit a new one, if that's ok with you.Thx
