Autorate help requested for an evident idiot

Greetings to all!
I have been playing around with autorate for quite a while, but I have had nothing but problems so far. The very first thing I would like to to learn is how I get the respective player icon (if that is the term) to appear in the HUD.
I promise to bother you further once that problem is solved.

Are you using PT2 and PAHUD or PT3 and PT3's HUD?

PT and PT3's HUD.

Click Configure --> Configure HUD, choose your HUD profile from the drop down at the top, go to the Groups tab and select the group you want the icon to display on, and switch to the Stats tab. Double click the Player Icon statistic in the box on the left to add it to the display and you can click the up and down arrows to move where it's located in the group (see the box at the top right).
