When you build stats they are built from one player's point of view - you cannot look up the actions of the other specific players like that within stats, so you can't check each of those actions for each other player.

Not without a pretty major change to the database structure, no - I don't think this will happen in the short-term, although there is a request in our system for a change which would allow this sort of thing.

I'm trying to create "Contributed Rake" stat. What I did was:
Configure > Configure Stats > Holdem Cash Player Statistic > Columns >
I named this one: rake_contributed
I entered the formula: sum(holdem_hand_summary.amt_rake * holdem_hand_player_detail.amt_bet_ttl / holdem_hand_summary.amt_pot)
Name for Statistic: Contributed Rake, Value Expression: rake_conributed,
Format: Title: Ctrb.Rake, Width: 50, Format Expression: /%.2f, Categorized: Informational, Money, Results.
It looks like this stat is working as I was able to run report and get results, however I would like to see this stat in the columns in General, Session and Winning tabs.
How can I do that?

It isn't possible to use a stat like that in reports which show session results, as they are built from information about session totals (not individual hands). See the Sections part of the the Tutorial: Custom Reports and Statistics.
Your stat will only work in reports which show overall hand stats - it should work in the General > Player Statistics report, as well as the Hands and Positions tabs, for instance.

I'm not sure we can calculate this because we don't know how many people put money in.

Any news about that? Is it possible now?

I want to build a statistic for average contributed rake (not weighted contributed). So the average contributed rake for each player should be:
(total rake) / (number of players who put money in)

And you need to check if hero puts money in. Otherwise its 0.

Thanks

We can get close - we know how many players saw the flop - but we still don't know how many players put money in preflop and then fold.

hello,

I went over the forum, found some info on contributed rake and pt3 but I don't really understand it fully.

I'm playing on entraction poker which has contributed rake. my pt3 shows i paid $147 so far this month but poker client says i only paid $93. I don't know who to believe now or why would pt3 calculate it wrong. I'm OK if the difference is few % but not 50%.

my question to you guys is.. is pt3 not able to calculate contributed rake? not even closer to what poker client say I generated? If its possible, please point me into the right direction how to change it

thanks

The rake recorded in PT3 is the rake you actually pay - if you're talking about the figure used to calculate rakeback or points then that is often a different value entirely.
There are some contributed rake / rakeback stats available for download from the "Get More" section, but exactly what you need depends on what you want to see?

Ok, so I actually paid $147 for playing, but they only giving me rakeback on $93. I get 30% from $93 which is $28. $28 from what I actually paid ($147) is then only 19%.

If I *contributed* $147 into the game, that should be the amount I'm getting my rakeback calculated from. Why is there such a difference from what I paid them and what they qualify as my total from where I'm getting my rakeback?
