PT does not properly shut down on windows 7

Postby Fingerswinger » Thu Apr 29, 2010 11:44 am

when i close PT (v3.06.2) after playing, the program window disappears, and then a windows message pops up that PT wouldnt terminate properly. i then have the option to close the program.

often this popup appears twice in a row (it re-appears right after i clicked "close" on the first window).

i noticed that PokerTrackerHud.exe is still running in the taskmanager. it disappears when i click the close button.

this never happens when i open PT and close it again, without starting the auto-import.

i already sent a ticket with this issue, but got no reply.

I have this problem too and have a ticket open. https://www.pokertracker.com/support/ti ... t_id=85770 The first window says that PokerTracker3.exe has stopped working and needs to close and the 2nd one says that PokerTrackerHUD.exe needs to close. I've had this happen on and off for about a month now so it probably is some bug that crept in way before 3.06.2

Please update your ticket too - it will be easier to sort things out there, where we have more information.

I'm experiencing the same issue, but mine seems to be correlated with the HUD freezing (updates to HUD stop). I try to exit poker tracker to restart/reset hud to see if that will fix it, and that's when I see this "poker tracker did not shut down properly" dialog. I see the dialog twice.

I'm running version 3.06 and was hoping to upgrade (can anyone provide a link for that? I can't seem to find anything but the full version download.) Was hoping upgrade would solve it, but from comments here that seems unlikely.

I've been running pokertracker for months, and this behavior has only started within the last two weeks.

Please update to v3.06.2 (there's just one installer now).
