It says this version is about to expire, what does it mean?

How do you update the software and do you have to? I bought the software so it's not that the trial version is expiring.

What version of PT3 are you using? If it's an old version you'll likely just want to upgrade to our latest release, available on our download page - it will not cost extra.

I recently started getting this message as well and I don't know why. I'm using version 3.06.2 on my mac. Isn't this the most updated one?

Please check to make sure your date is set properly - 3.06.2 shouldn't expire until mid October.

Please upgrade to our latest Beta - 3.07.1, it should work properly.

I have a small problem with that. Isn't it a beta version. Doesn't it mean that it could be unstable?

3.07.1 has been out for a while and there aren't any major problems with it for the Mac that I'm aware of.
