Two Computers at one time

Postby Habs » Thu Aug 05, 2010 1:26 pm

When my 60 day free trial is up I plan on buying the full version. I was reading that it is good for two computers at one time. My question is that my laptop is a Mac. Can I have it on both my PC and Mac?

Second question - If I'm running it on both the PC and Mac will it keep track of all the hand histories? ex. I use my PC for two days. When I log onto my Mac will it have the HH for those two days?

Thanks

Hi,

Someone from support would have to answer your first question but I suspect that the answer is yes.

As for the 2nd question, check out the synchronizing databases tutorial viewtopic.php?f=45&t=23729

Thanks for the link. It's a little confusing for me but I'm sure I'll figure it out.

thanks for the reply.

Yes, that's fine. You can use PT3 on two computers (that you own and operate) at the same time - they can be any mix of PC and Mac, and you can use it on a new computer if you retire one of the old ones.

So I just got my Mac back from being repaired. I currently have about 45 days left on my free trial on my PC. Should I wait until my free trial is up to install this on my Mac?

It's up to you - the free trials aren't linked, it's just if you have a registration code. You won't be able to backup your data without registering though.

OK so I just downloaded version 3.07.2 BETA for the Mac and it said the download was successful. When I click on the PT3 logo nothing happens and I can't get the screen to come up where it says I can have a 60 day free trial. Any ideas?

Please try uninstalling that version and reverting to the 3.06.2 version for the Mac and see if that works better for you.

ok I did the same thing with the older version and the same thing happened. Everything seems fine but the last screen wont come up where I can select my 60 day trial for holdem.
