tourneyluck currently doesn't do anything.

holdem manager currently does everything.

If you seriously believe that I have some land in the Everglades that might interest you. HM also has no way of determining this all in scenario.

That's a start. Is there not a stat/flag/whatever that ranks holecards from AA down to 7,2 off? If so, that's all we need to build an all-in report imo.

Hi everyone,

Is there a difference in calculating the EV between PT3 and Holdemluck?
In PT3 I'm nearly 400$ above EV, but Holdemluck says I'm 100$ under EV. How come this difference and which of the programs is right?
Using 3.07.2 beta PT3 and 0.20 Holdemluck.

Thanks in advance.

Can you pinpoint any hands in which their value differs? There may be some issues with side pots still.

It's hard for me to figure out a exact hand. It might be easier if both graphs would look the same. How can I filter the PT3 graph to show only Allin-Hands?

There's not one easy filter for all hands that were all-in before the river I'm afraid you'll need to link a bunch together. I actually was just informed that an EV error with PT3's multi-way pot calculations will be fixed in our next beta release so hopefully that will make the errors vanish.

Perhaps it was not obvious from the way I phrased things - I completely agree with this assessment. I was trying to tease that out by using the intuition that the player in question was neither lucky nor unlucky.

But the above quoted analysis is exactly what TourneyLuck currently does.

We can build a stat to show what percentage of all-ins you won, what we can't build (yet) is how many you would have been expected to win - I too look forward to the day this can be done.

you are making my point kraada lol.

third party developer built it.
PT freerolled on the exact functionality needed.
Because PT freerolled and never got to it, users currently without any functionality... and I can in no way blame Holdemluck guy

If he could do it, then obviously PT can build it. I fail to see why it can't be done. The replayer shows equities as of the allin so I know you can calc the equity. All you need to do is sum up the number of times you won where you were > 50% at allin. Short of it being a theft of I.P., just build it so it works the same way as holdem luck- where it has to go and recompute the new field for equities on allins to keep it updated.

I won't belabor the argument. Everyone knows it obviously can be done. The question is when... and what other features will be done before this (and which features of course should or should not be done before this one).

I'm not 100% sure but I think the hand 2 on the Holdemluck graph is hand 12 on PT3 graph.

So, when I see this right, Holdemluck is right and PT3 is wrong in terms of Allin-EV calculation?

Btw. I filtered Preflop Raise Allin OR Flop Raise Allin OR Turn Raise Allin OR River Raise Allin OR Facing Allin Preflop OR Facing Allin Flop OR Facing Allin Turn OR Facing Allin River
and still PT3 shows more hands than Holdemluck? What did I wrong?

I wonder if someone could just make a report that listed all-in hands and equities (expected, actual, difference). Even if you could only export that to a spreadsheet, you could still graph the luck...

Cloud, can you attach that hand to a support ticket? It's easier for us to make sure the developers get it fixed that way.

You have more hands with those filters because sometimes you go all in and aren't called :)
