Import problems from Microgaming

Postby THHB » Sun Aug 08, 2010 11:35 am

I have tried to import hand history from one of my computers where PT3 is not installed.
When you export hand history from the Microgaming client, it is automatically saved as a text file.
But for some reason the PT3 on one of my other computers will not read this text file.
I have tried to import the text file from a memory stick (directory) and also from the email import option, but with the same disappointing result.

What to do ??

What version of PT3 are you trying to import the hand into?

just downloaded the newest version 3.07... but same problem.
PT3 can not find any files in the text document - and the only format that the MicroGaming client is exporting hand history as, is as a text document.

Try importing the hand into 3.07.2 and see if that works better for you.

see my latest post... does not work either

Please list what can cause this problem...

Please dont ask me to send you a ticket. Tried that 20 times before and I never succeeded doing that.

Maybe best solution is to let me download my PT3 licens to my 3rd computer ??

The MicroGaming client only exports in a ".txt" file type.
PT3 says "unrecognized file type"

Please attach the file to a support ticket then so that we can look into supporting this type. In the meantime there should be a handhistory.db file on your machine in the Microgaming directory - if you take that to your other computer and import from that file manually you should get everything in that microgaming database.

There is no db file type under my Microgaming directory.

As far as sending you a ticket, please see my previous post in this thread.

Im not able to send you a ticket. Ive tried this at least 20 times before and probably spend >50 hours on this, without any success.

It is so frustrating that when I have a PT3 problem it always ends up with you asking for a ticket - which Im not able to do - and I stand back with my problems unsolved.

Im very very frustrated about this.....

In the light of all my previous problems and frustrations, I would be extremely happy if you could allow me to use my PT3 licens on my 3rd computer as well. This would at least solve my latest problem and I would feel that I have been helped to solve an important problem for me.

All you need to do to create a ticket is go to this page and fill out the form and click Submit - where are you having trouble?
