Unable to connect to database

Unable to connect to database

Hey guys
I've just installed the latest PT3 Beta version and now I am unable to connect to postgres. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling postgres and pt3 but it still isn't working.
I am using wondows 7.
Error message is-
"Unable to connect to this database. please check the configurations"

HELP :?

Just looked in services.msc and postgres is there, i tried to start it manually and the following came up-
"Windows could not start the Postgres database server 8.3 service on local computer. Error 3: The system cannot find the path specified."

Did you move or otherwise delete the C:\Program Files\PostgreSQL folder?

I may have, I was cleaning up my pc-getting rid of old files and may have accidentally deleted it, but wouldn't uninstalling and reinstalling it have fixed it?

It depends exactly how you did it - did you follow the guide on our documentation page?

Yep I'd missed a step in the uninstall! :oops:
