Re: Error: Help

The error ONLY occurs when I am playing ....error does not occur when I am data-mining.

The error occurs when the PT import window reaches 0 on the timer and is ready to import the HH files. At that point, I get the pop up error msg.

Sometimes, after I hit 'OK' on the error msg.....it seems to import the files the next time the timer fires....but with errors.

Then, it will import fine for another 10 minutes...then....I get the pop-up error again.

So, it happens intermittently.

I have re-installed full tilt poker. I am moving processed HH files to a destination folder other than PT folder.

Should I try re-installing PT ?

Are you importing datamined hands into the same database as your own hands are going into?

If you use the PostgreSQL Database Functions window to do a backup of this database, what is the size of the .backup file that gets created?

I was NOT initially importing datamined hands into the same DB as my played hands. Due to the re-install of PT, the observed hands were being imported into a different DB name then my played hands.

I fixed this a few days ago - now both types of HH are going into the same DB name. I re-started after this and still got those pop up errors.

The size of my last DB backup file was 1.07 GB. That was 1 month ago...at this time, it is probably closer to 1.50 GB, as I have played close to 50k hands since then but datamined close to 200k hands.

I need you to do a backup of this database again so I have the latest version and FTP me the backup file. I just PM'ed you the directions on how to FTP it to me.

I also need you to ZIP the contents of your c:\program files\full tilt poker\handhistory folder and email that to me at support at pokertracker dot com - make sure you reference this post so I know what it's about.

I'll see if I can reproduce the same errors.

I am uploadin the latest backup via FTP right now.

As for the contents of the FTP HH folder, I have deleted or moved all HH files ...so at this time, it is empty.

I'm assuming you want some HH files in there which cause the error ..in that case, I will have to wait to send you the contents until I play a session tomorrow and I will NOT move processed
files to a different folder...and then zip you the contents which should have the HH files when this error occurs.

Thanks

Do you get the same errors now when you are datamining? Because if you do then I could just test it myself without needing any hand history files from you. If you just get it with your own hands importing then if you can play some hands and send me those files that would be great.

Please let me know once the upload is done.

Try using that program I gave you a link to in the PM. I've used that to upload huge files that I could get loaded with other FTP software, it works pretty well.

Have played 2 - 3 sessions in the past 2 days and PT has not thrown the error yet.

After I went in and deleted all HH files and all .tmp files from the FTP HH folder... PT has not given me the error.

At this point, I'm going to play a few more sessions and see if this error comes back....
