This is what they wroteto me, it seems, that the problem appears according to my Database. Where can i see the number of my database to type in for starting PT3? The ports are in the manual on the website for sure, but i cannot remember the name of my Tracker-Database...

Sorry i posted it before reading your message. Im not able to screen it now, cause i restored windows without any succes. The main problem is that PT3 does not know, where to find the database. Please assist me here and then ill have a try tuning postgre manually as written in the tread. Thanks!

From the error you describe it does not sound like PostgreSQL is installed at all - do you see PostgreSQL under the Add/Remove programs list in your control panel?

Yes it is. Im not able toinstall another version, cause windows says its installed. The best would be uninstalling everything and Reinstall PT3 with importing the hands again, isnt it?

Uninstalling and resintalling PT3 won't fix anything.

Please click Start, type in services.msc and hit enter. Locate and attempt to start the PostgreSQL service. If it starts, try again in PT3. If it doesn't start, click Start -> Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Event Viewer and look in the Application folder there for PostgreSQL errors - if you find any, double click them and paste the error text here.

Please attach the last few files in the C:\Program Files (x86)\PostgreSQL\8.4\data\pg_log folder to a support ticket and we will investigate further for you.

I thought it would be easy to solve the problem. But it seems for me, that it would be much easier to uninstall everything. Itll last less than 2 hours for 23k hands, so i think ill do that. I will change the parameters before to tune my database. Would be the best. Thanks for your support.
