Simple Monthly Report?

Postby fncruz » Fri Oct 01, 2010 6:23 pm

I am having trouble with reports having never created one. I checked the downloads but did not find what I was looking for.

I just want a simple report to run every month ( and year) which shows cash stats for each table type.

Does anyone have this?

I can certainly help you build such a report, but in order to figure out which section is best to put it in - what kind of stats were you looking to show on this report?

I started building one and am getting the hang of it. I am having a problem with filtering dates though.

How do I filter by date?

I want hands between 9/1/2010 and 9/30/2010.

When I try to enter it in the Edit Report Filter, the filter expression fails to validate.

Click the blue Filters link on the left, then click Simple Filters in the lower left hand corner. That will bring up the normal filter interface that you can use - on the General tab are the date filters.

I tried that as well.

I tried setting 9/1/2010 to 9/30/2010. When I apply it always shows 9/1/2010 to 10/31/2010. I cannot get the final date that I want.

Do you have an overall filter set? That can interfere sometimes with custom reports.

Ok, got it and it worked!

I now have a lot of data for the different limits that I play at.

One thing I'd like to have is $/day for the whole month. I simply want Monthly net divided by the number of days in that time period. Can this be done?

The current $/day for each limit is good but I want an overall.

This means if I win $100 at 1 limit and $200 at another limit I would want the daily $ to be $300. I believe PT is averaging the amounts.

The summary line of $/Day should be giving you the total win/loss divided by the number of days you played. Can you explain exactly how you have your report laid out?
You can export it and attach it to a Support ticket if you want us to check it out.

The $/day is working fine for EACH limit.

If I win $1500 at one limit and $1500 at another limit in a 30 day month. I would want somewhere to say that my overall $/day is $100 ((1500+1500) / 30).

I think the summary will just average the rows - you may need to make another report where you don't split by limit.
If you want to send us the report we'll have a look what else can be done.
