noob alert: PT3 questions/issues/requests

Postby jsimon101 » Mon Nov 29, 2010 11:55 am

Hello -

I am starting this thread for myself because I like PT3 and have been using it for some time and I need to fine tune some PT3 skills and have a number of basic questions. I will use this thread for myself to ask dumb questions that I've always wanted to ask so thanks in adv!

My first noob dumb question is this:

Why is that in my replayer that the hud box is checked but there is no hud. The box where the x mark is is faded out btw. I'm running filters, does this affect it? Also - it's for NLHE 6m ...

thanks

The Replayer HUD will only when when Auto Import is not running - when Auto Import and the normal HUD are running, it causes performance issues with the Replayer HUD. If you stop Auto Import, the Replayer HUD will start up. Filters don't affect the Replayer HUD - but the Replayer HUD only shows data that you had at the time the hand was played so that you can analyze the hand with the data that you had available to you when the hand occurred.

That stat isn't available by default, but you could build it. Is it just the percentage of hands a player wins given that they check/raised a given street?

I'm not sure.

I imagine it's similar to as the won when raised the turn - I used this a lot when I played Limit - so it effectively means that whenever the player raised on a street and thus won the pot ... but I don't know if it's at showdown or if it's by their opponents folding and them scooping the pot... or both.

I'm interested in "building" a stat .. what is this?

Oh Yes and also - in the HUD - when I enter a prefix: like vpip: 25 - and I color code the ranges is there any way to not have the text be color-coded along with the number? So far the texts turn with the number and I would prefer to not have that. thx again.

Check out the Tutorial: Custom Reports and Statistics – if you want help building a specific stat please post back telling us exactly what you want to calculate and we'll help you out.

No, currently the whole text is coloured, but this request is in our system.

WhiteRider:

I saw your post about the different card mods ... I downloaded them and they're quite nice. My question is is there any way to get them into the hud? That is when the last hand and the hand histories pop up can we get those cards in there.

Also I wanted to combine some of the cards. Specifically I wanted to combine the yellow spade card with the white lettered/number'd cards - can we do this ?

Thanks my friend.

Yes - the second post in that thread includes the cards for the HUD.

I've added a couple more versions of the file to a new post in that thread - one with all white numbers, but since yellow on white isn't very clear I've also added black on yellow with white for the other three suits.

Hello again ---

I am configuring my HUD for HU play. For HU - it's imperative to have vpipBB and vpipSB ... since there are only two positions and the vpipBB indicates how loose my opponent is oop. Anyway - I don't see vpipBB in the stats - I only see vpipSB and regular vpip. Is the regular vpip indicative of the BB vipip? I was wondering because HEM manager does have vpipBB as a separate stat as well as the regular vpip AND a lot of the HU players recomend all three vpips: vpip, vpipBB and vpipSB - so I am a little confused here.

Thanks
