Import Options ??

What do the following options do in Import?
Manual Import: 1.Auto Tournament Detect--- 2.Overwrite Tournament Summary Data
Does the Auto Tournament detect overwrite the Tournament Summary?? If so I really dont want this. The summary will have the correct type and #of entries the auto detect will have the #of players only those that I faced. At least on FT Not sure about PS since they have started exporting summaries I havent even played.

Also in Settings--Performance---"Filter player List"??
It seems when this is checked that PT responds quicker when refreshed--or a new filter is set. I would think it would be slower.
The player lists seems to be the main "slowdown" in operating and initial opening. If this could somehow be changed the refresh-opening time would increase dramatically. I notice this especially on a POS laptop I use often.

The Overwrite Tournament Summary Data checkbox overwrites the data detected while you play with the data detected in a summary you import when applicable. There are certain times a user may want this (when tournaments imported improperly), or not (when the user manually entered rebuy data that is not contained in a summary) so the option is available for general use.

The Tournament Detection checkbox on the Auto Import tab tells PT3 to attempt to figure out what type of tournament it is while you are playing based on data in the hand histories. If you turn this off all tournaments will be treated as the same type.

The Filter Player List option tells PT3 to filter (or not to filter) the player list based on the global filters you choose. Depending on your system this may or may not reduce time to load (especially depending on the filter you're using). We've had requests to remove the player list entirely in the past in order to improve response time and this issue is something that is currently under consideration by the development team.

Have had a problem that just started today (last nite). Dont know if its update related or not. This is Full Tilt.
Playing SNGs 3 table and 5 table It, at times, does not list the finishing position correctly & amount won.
In 3 table finished 4th did not list correctly pos or amount won.
In 5 table finished 20ish & 30ish did not list pos correctly--no biggie.
In 5 table finished 2nd listed correctly.

I re-imported manually with the above options checked various ways and could not get it to do correctly.
The summary looks the same as B4 to me but will submit ticket if you need.

This is a known issue that will be fixed in our next beta release - they removed the last line which used to read <player name> finished in X place.

One more followup
In the tourney I finished 2nd in the last line had the "player finished 2nd" line like it used to have.----?????
Maybe FT is fixin them.

This is what i looks like they are doing.
But am not sure. I have 1 where I cashed that didnt show pos or $ won. Was a few days ago.
STT SNGs seem OK even finishing 9th

It used to write when you closed the tournament lobby. Are you clicking "play another SnG of this type" directly after the ones where you're not getting tournaments? They had a bug at one point where tournament summaries weren't getting written when you did that (though I thought they fixed that bug).
