Cant install postgres

when i downloaded pokertracker and tried to run it, it said that postgres wasnt working so i uninstalled postgres and tried to reinstall it. when i tried reinstalling it, it says my password that i have is incorrect and i cant continue with the installation. Does anyone know how to help me? I emailed postgres and still havent gotten a response...go figure

Please follow all of the steps in our uninstall and reinstall guide on our documentation page - it will walk you through the commands necessary in order to make sure this is not an issue.

it still doesnt work it says that the password is incorrect. it typed in dbpass and it says its not the right password. i followed the instructions on the pdf file and it didnt change anything.

Follow the steps on page 7 and the top of page 8 - that removes the service account, which will then be recreated upon reinstallation.
