Howto configure PT for betfair?

Hi,
Betfair is installed outside of the restricted program files directory does this mean i can start it with as normal user, or do i have to start it with admin rights when starting PT with admin rights (what i do)?
And why does not PT detect that betfair is running nor is able to detect the HH folders?
Which folder do i have to type in manualy?
The tutorial on the main page is outdated because betfair did not use this directory sturcture anymore (no url in path and so on)

Are you running our latest Beta version? In that version the Auto Detect button should work properly. If it doesn't, you want whatever directory Betfair saves its hands in to be listed in the Directory Configuration box on the Betfair Configuration tab in PT3.

Yes i just installed the newest beta. Betfair installs in c:\Betfair and has just one subdirectory: c:\betfair\ch_resources with it just contains a certs.pem file.
i added c:\betfair in the PT betfair configuration but not hand historys where imported. I do not know where betfair stores the HHs and there seems to be no configuration to change something about this within the betfair software.

Try adding the C:\documents and settings\<your user name>\local settings\application data\P5\Betfair\hand history directory and see if that works for you.

Iam using windows 7 and here its: C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Local\P5\Betfair\handhistory
there are the HHs stored. And i can manualy import them there but, even when starting betfair with admin rights it is not recognized as running from PT and so no auto import (i did not test what exactly what happens when i acitivate auto import), there is just the message that no betfair is running.

On the Betfair Configuration tab, click the "Add" button under the Directories Configuration box and choose that directory manually. Then check the "Automatically Start With Auto Import" checkbox and you should be all set.

I added the path and even manualy started the "auto import" fuction but it did not helped. PT did not recognize that the betfair software is running and so did not show the hud, and there where no imported hands.

The only things i can test are:
- starting betfair with admin rights (which means adding another path because starting as admin means starting the software as another user [the admin] which have an own documents and appData directory)
- checking the "Automatically Start With Auto Import" checkbox. But i never needed that for other poker softwares, because i allways manualy started the autoimport.

That checkbox puts the checkbox on the left next to the site name - that's where the checkbox on the left comes from. You can start individual site imports by clicking on the site on the left and clicking Begin Site Import should you so desire, though.

yes you are right, the checkbox is neccessary, but even then i get the message: 0 files ro monitor. Which is strange because in the directory are hh files even some that containing hands not in the database! When starting autoimport and having hhs in the partypoker hh directory PT starts importing even when partypoker is not running. But it is not working with betfair.

Maybe it is necessary to run betfair as admin? I remember, as i last played some poker i had to start not only PT but even all poker rooms with admin rights.

Betfair is no longer it's own network, it's on OnGame - you need to configure the OnGame Configuration tab now.
