FullTilt Matrix 6-Max STT tourney results

Postby dBunny » Tue Feb 22, 2011 4:07 pm

I've played a few (8) of these tourneys and have noticed that the results are not importing properly.

The results show up under 5 id#s - I'm assuming one for each of the 4 tables and one for the points bonus. However the 4 table id's show no buy-in/rake while the last shows buy-in/rake at 1/5th the total.

The results and prize money seem correct for the individual table results, but the bonus one has prize money which appears to be the total prize money won on the tables divided by the number of tables cashed on.

Any ideas on getting this to work automatically so I don't have fix each one manually?

Any help appreciated.

Please try upgrading to our latest beta - 3.09.3 - those may work properly in the new version. If they don't, please attach the hands and a summary that doesn't work to a support ticket so that we can investigate further for you.

Upgraded, but still doesn't work properly - should I try changing the Tournament Detection setting on the Import page before submitting a support ticket and if so what to?

Thanks

I think it may be the tournament summaries that are confusing the program, they certainly confused me for a minute! If I use the Tournament Detection Overwrite function will that do anything that may make things worse?

Thanks

I'll ask the developers what's the best way to set this up and I'll get back to you.

Got to looking through the summaries to try and get a clue as to what is going on - here's what I found...

The summaries for the 4 individual tables are fine apart from not showing their share (1/5th) of the buy-in and rake as they should.

The summary for the Matrix prizes is all wrong APART from the buy-in and rake. The example below is one of the better ones as 3 of the results happen to be correct, but some other summaries are completely wrong. It appears that instead of taking the result from the summary, PT is calculating results for itself (and obviously getting it wrong).

Basically, each of the 5 results for each tourney should include their share of the buy-in and rake, and results should be read direct from the summary ONLY.

Hope this helps clarify the matter a bit better - will add this to a support ticket (tomorrow probably) if you can't come up with a quick fix! ;-)

Have you purged and re-imported the Matrix tournaments since you updated? Just updating will not correct the results which have already been imported.
You can test by creating a new database and importing to that to see what the results say there.

If you still have problems after re-importing please do let us have the hand history and summary files via a support ticket - a change was made recently to improve Matrix imports and the results should be correct now.

I haven't purged and re-imported since the upgrade but I have played a dozen more since upgrading, which I assume would import OK if everything was working. Will still give it a try though, just in case.

OK, I've tried purging and re-importing both with and without 'Overwrite Tournament Summary Data' checked, just to be sure. No change, still not importing properly. Will try and dig out one of the worst imports so as to best show the errors and submit a support ticket.
