pg_log content

Can I remove the old logs from pg_log? I've got Gigs of stuff there.

Yes, the data in the pg_log folder can be safely removed. PLEASE NOTE that this is only pg_log itself - the pg_xlog and pg_clog folders should not be touched as doing so can (and likely will) corrupt your database (potentially beyond recoverability).
