I've no doubt that it will not be overly expensive but my issue is that having literally just bought PT3 a few days back that had i known that PT4 was going to be announced i wouldn't have bought it in the first place.

I see that it claims on the promo site that people who buy PT3 now are eligible for a free upgrade. Would this include me?

I don't know what the exact cutoff date will be for the free upgrade - I'll try to find out for you, but if not I'm sure you will get the cheapest upgrade price (I don't have the details, but I'm assured it will be very reasonable).

What does one have to do to get involved in Alpha/Beta testing? I'm on a Mac, so I'm hoping we're in short supply so we're more useful :).

Will PT4 have color-coded notes and full EV stats including EV by street for all showdown hands.

I can't comment on specific features beyond the announcement, but those features have been prominently requested in recent years and we have been paying close attention to what users want and need.

I'm sure it will, but I don't have a timescale for you. PT2 was supported for about 2 years after the release of PT3, though.
