Well I thought Poker Tracker 2 was great and I must confess I love Poker Tracker 3 and the more I use it the more I realise how good it really is and look forward to upgrading to PT4.
I work for SAP as a technical consultant in Italy. Though not my main activity from time to time I also run tests for our support packages. If needed, I'd be glad to be part of the alpha test (for .it rooms mainly as I reside in Italy). In case, let me know dropping a mail.

I was planning on buying PT3 (or a competitor product, sorry) when I read about this announcement. My initial reaction was the wait for PT4. Does this mean if I purchase PT3 now I will get a free upgrade to PT4 when it is released. I just want to make sure before I make my purchase.
PT3 is already multithreaded, and is not bound to any particular core. I doubt that there will yet be any specific changes for quad core machines or 64-bit as a significant number of people still have 32-bit machines.
The same PostgreSQL versions will continue to be supported, but to get the best performance, especially on a 64-bit machine, you will need to use v9.
