More information on NoteTracker will be released in a forthcoming video. We can't say everything just yet, but you will love it!

Will PT4 for mac users be ported or coded?
I hope coded as it will run much better

The code base since PokerTracker 3 has been developed in C++; this allows our team to develop from the start with cross platform compatibility in mind by writing the core code once, then altering it for Mac and PC specifics. This is generally how cross platform software is developed in any industry, with some exceptions of course. Hard coding for each platform has great disadvantages, it is too expensive, and introduces bugs that are hard to track since they are unique to the platform. There are also advantages, but we aren't a company the size of Intuit or Adobe - its not feasible for us to consider.

On the bright side Pokertracker is the only cross platform tracking application for poker that really works, I think it says a lot about our vision for the future - we think big picture, and provide our users the flexibility to switch between platforms without having to buy a second software license. I cannot think of any other poker software company that does this... pretty cool IMO.

Graphs and Reports

Postby LittleDrug » Sat Jun 25, 2011 11:51 am

Hello guys! Will we be able to create our own graphs by selecting the stats/filters we want to put in the axes?

More graphing options will be available and we'll go into them in more depth in an upcoming feature video.

Does PT4 include a kind of "BankRollTracker" which will allow the users to manage their BR ? An option were I can manage my cash in, bonus/RB, where I can have a vision of my bankrolls (for exemple, I have 600$ on PS, 150€ also on PS, 350€ on PS.fr, and 400$ on FTP) and that is automatically update by the information imported by PT4, with some graphs of the evolution day by day, week by week and month by month.

If you don't yet include a tool like this, can I expect you'll think about it ?

Thanks :) .

That's definitely something we're considering for inclusion at some point in time but I can neither confirm nor deny it as a release feature of PT4 right now.
