PostGreswill not start

It is set to auto in the services, my windows firewall is set to allow it, yet I still can not start postgres and get PT3 up and running. This problem seems specific to postgres 9.0. No events in the event log that I could find

Check in the C:\Program Files (x86)\PostgreSQL\9.0\data\pg_log folder - are there any files there? If so, look in the most recent one, are there any errors mentioned in the file?

From the event log. I included a lot of other stuff in there because there seem to be a lot of errors going on that I don't understand. Maybe this could be part of the reason for uberslow imports? Am I also seeing suggestions in here to increase checkpoint segments?-

How big is this database?

I just bought the computer and I'm starting fresh---the database has nothing in it. I'm guessing the errors are from my previous import attempts, which I purged the data

And now as soon as you start Postgres it shuts down?

I can't start it at all unless I reinstall it. Then it does whatever its doing. The logs I sent you have some stuff in there about it. If I use postgres 8 i have no issues (other than the slow import issue which u guys are also looking into, but I have that problem with 9.0 as well)
